About Organic Bamboo

As part of our Green initiative we strive to do our part for the health and wellness of the planet. We have been manufacturing with mindfulness for over 14 years.

Our original inspiration for using eco-friendly fabrics was an essential part of our commitment to a sustainable future in fashion. It is heartwarming to know that these practices have made a difference. Our Certified Organic Bamboo fabric is made in Canada exclusively for us to give you the ultimate experience of enduring quality and comfort.

Our super soft Viscose knit is made from Certified Organic bamboo fibers and is much better for the environment than conventional cotton, as it is grown without chemicals or extra water and is completely sustainable.

Viscose from Bamboo fabric is the ultimate in softness while also giving you enduring quality. It has a silky, smooth feel and luxurious drape that glides over your body. At a microscopic level, bamboo has a round surface, and because of this it's very smooth, and has no sharp spurs or petroleum-based products to irritate your skin. This makes Bamboo fabric perfect for sensitive or allergy prone skin.

Bamboo has an unusually high level of breathability making it incredibly cool and comfortable to wear. It is also highly water absorbent, able to take up to 3 times its weight in water. The cross-section of the bamboo fiber is filled with micro-pockets that give the fabric superb moisture absorption and ventilation.

Bamboo is 100% naturally grown and not manmade. A highly sustainable crop, bamboo is produced without the use of pesticides and herbicides. As a result, plantations can easily be kept organic. Additionally, the plant is flood and drought resistant; so water irrigation is not necessary for production.

Sustainability: A fast growing and resilient plant, bamboo grows to its maximum height in about three months and reaches maturity in three to four years. As one of the fastest growing plants in the world, it spreads rapidly across large areas of land. Bamboo can also be used to prevent soil erosion in deforested areas. Bamboo takes up more carbon dioxide and releases more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees, so more bamboo plantations mean more photosynthesis and less greenhouse gas for our planet.

Bamboo is a natural cellulose fiber and is 100% biodegradable in soil by micro-organisms and sunlight. The decomposition process does not cause any pollution in the environment. Created by nature and returned to nature, bamboo is the ultimate eco-fabric!

Care for Bamboo Garments

Bamboo is as easy to care for as any cotton t-shirt, with one exception: it is heavy when wet. We recommend washing on the delicate cycle with similar soft garments.

For best results, dry in the dryer on low to medium heat until about half to three-quarters dry to remove most of the water, then hang until completely dry.

It rarely needs ironing, but if required, please iron on a medium setting.
