My Favourite Canadian Brands

It's something I've always been passionate about, supporting other small Canadian business like my own. But now I'm on a mission to switch ALL the mass manufactured brands I've previously bought to natural Canadian made products from small businesses. I've been trying all sorts of things, like new make-up, skincare and homecare products and I've found many great companies I'd like to share with you!

1890 Natural Bath Company

The best thing they make IMO is their Magnesium lotion. The fragrances are so fun. My hands down favourite is "Dole Whip" which is a creamy blend of pineapple and vanilla. Magnesium is infused into their body butter formula that also contains shea butter & omega 3 for joint and muscle health.

Mint Cleaning Products

Safe, natural and effective, Mint products also smell wonderful. I especially love their dishwasher tabs and lemongrass/mint hand soap. Their cleaning products are fantastic too.

Tanit - Oral, Skin, Hair and Homecare products

I love Tanit products. I now exclusively use their Tanit Tabs instead of toothpaste. Their deodorant is far superior to anything else I've tried. I also love their skincare box with moisturizer, facial scrub and neroli oil.

Rocky Mountain Soap Company

These are my favourite personal soap products, hands down. Juicy Orange or minty Unwind smell so delicious. Also I love their oat lotion, so far I've tried the Lavender Earl Grey and will try others.

Zoraw Chocolate

Who doesn't love chocolate? Especially now when so many brands are considering lab grown cocoa (yuck). These guys keep the ingredients real like cocoa butter, cocoa mass, whey protein with natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit. (No added sugar) All the flavours taste great, I admit I've tried them all on repeat.

Hand dyed Canadian Yarn

Wow we make lots of gorgeous yarn here! I have many favourites from all across Canada including Sea to Sky, Slan baby, (both in Vancouver) Ginger Snap That (Alberta) and Leo & Roxy (Ontario).

Cherry Velvet Dresses

A little shameless self promotion here. If you didn't already know, I design another clothing brand that's also Made in Canada with local production. You'll recognize my bamboo dresses there, but the Cherry Velvet dresses are mostly 100% cotton with generous pockets.

Thank you for supporting our little Canadian small business too. I so appreciate you being here with us!
