The Perks Of A Proper Mask

Thank you to everybody that purchased a mask from us. :)

Our 100% cotton masks are completely ready to wear. However, if you want to take them a step further, Diane takes a moment to explain the extra built-in features you can take advantage of.

Extra Features

Our masks include a few extra features which allow you to upgrade them for even more protection. If you look inside of your mask, you will notice a small opening on each side. This opening supports an added filter, if you wish. We suggest using a coffee filter, cut to size, approximately a 4" round. Roll the filter slightly in order to insert it into the opening, and adjust into place. Please note that this extra layer of protection needs to be removed before washing, as well as replaced when you wear the mask again.

You can also use this same opening to access the channel that goes along the top of the nose, so you can insert a wire in this area to give an extra close fit over the nose. You can use a wire or a pipe cleaner, but our best suggestion is a plastic-coated twist tie. While you can leave the wire in while washing your mask, please be aware that it could rust, so we recommend removing it when washing.

How To Wear Your Mask

To make sure that you are wearing your mask correctly, you may notice an extra row of stitching. This will help you find the top of the mask, which goes over your nose. The adjustable elastic strap with the knot is first to go over your head and around the back of your neck. Then, pull the mask up over your face, while the smooth, un-knotted loop goes around the back of your head. If you have long hair like I do, you can lift the top portion of your hair to settle the elastic around the middle of your head under your hair.

Once more, thank you for your purchase.❤️ We appreciate your support at this time. We invite you to share this post with others that may be in need of masks

Stay safe everyone!
