I came home from work today and told my son: "Mom's a little grumpy right now, you might not want to be around me."
My son says: "Mom, maybe you should buy some shoes" (True story)

All cheekiness aside, this weekend is Mother's Day, and as a mum myself, I am so proud of my wonderful son.



Scott just turned 25 this year and is in the 'forgotten' graduating class of 2020. He just completed his degree in computer engineering and it was straight into the workforce for him. In fact, he's already landed a full time job programming games at a local company.

Right now, I'm so thankful that his new job has him working from home and we're both grateful for that opportunity during this crazy time. It's not the quantity but the quality of time spent and I think it's so sweet he took some time to snap a few fun photos together, as a Mother's Day treat. 💓

I couldn't be more proud of him. And can't wait to see where he goes from here.
